1. Who we are

2. Making a booking

  • How to book: Fill in the online form or visit our store. When you book, you confirm that your personal details (name, address, phone, etc.) are correct.
  • Confirmation: The bike rental booking is successful when we confirm your booking and rental contract is formed when you pay the rental price.
  • Deposit and payment: You don’t need to leave a security deposit per bike, but you have to bring the bike back in good condition.

3. Using our bikes

  • Condition and safety: You confirm that the bike is in good condition when you receive it. Cycling is done at your own risk; we do not accept liability for injuries or accidents.
  • Helmet requirement: Riders under 18 must wear a helmet, but we recommend that all riders wear one.
  • Phone use: Using a phone while cycling is forbidden and can result in a €120 fine.
  • Return time: Unless we agree otherwise, please return bikes by 21:00 on the agreed date. Late returns will be charged at the daily rental rate.
  • Care of equipment: Do not modify the bike or loan it to someone else. You are responsible for any loss or damage.

4. Damage, loss and insurance

  • Damage or theft: You must pay the cost of any repairs or replacement if the bike or accessories are damaged on purpose or stolen by your fault. Inform us and the police immediately in case of theft.
  • Insurance: We do not provide personal accident insurance. If you want cover for injuries or third‑party damage, please arrange your own insurance.

5. Cancellation and the right to withdraw

  • Our cancellation policy: After your booking is confirmed, you can cancel without charges.

6. How we handle your data

  • What we collect: We collect the details you provide (name, contact details, rental details, height, gender) to manage your booking.
  • Why we use it: We use your data to prepare the right bike for you and to prepare your rental contract. We do not use it for marketing without your consent.
  • How long we keep it: We keep your rental records for six years as required by Slovenian law.
  • Your rights: You have rights to access, correct or delete your data and to object to or restrict its processing. Contact us at luma.sport@hotmail.com to exercise these rights or to ask any question. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner if you think your data has been misused.

7. Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint, send it by email to luma.sport@hotmail.com. We will try to resolve it amicably. Slovenian law applies to these terms, and any disputes may be handled by the court in Koper.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the law or in our services. The latest version is always available on our website.
